“And Say Say” by Lena Kitsopoulou at the Kunsttheater

“Kai Lege Lege” is a total work of art that is created by combining various arts: texts by Lena Kitsopoulos, photographs by Giorgos Kaplanidis and Takis Diamantopoulos, a video clip of a song by Nikos Kypourgos, a short film by Lena Kitsopoulos with camerawork by Evi Kalogiropoulou . The synthesis of all this leads to the work presented in the art theater that proposes a new consideration of the theatrical act beyond the boundaries of the theater.

The show’s press release states:

“And then they say it’s the murderer’s fault. When you kill because they killed you first. Why; Because you had no blood when you were killed? Seriously; Blood needs something sharp to spurt, it needs iron, it needs machetes, it needs a weapon, it needs metal, but the ah of the larynx or throat is also made by murderous instruments without fingerprints, by words, by beautiful words that have existed , caused recaptured, by deaths you didn’t expect, by those who shook their fist at you like a dice and played you, so to speak, so that you somehow lost your romantic mood and said, “Come on, fuck you.” “Come on.”, fuck you, let’s put on a show, let’s do what I dance, let’s do what I enjoy, let’s do what I forgot and let’s go, shake, party, oops, oops, oops, give it to art and it will give you something in return.

We went to parties, we went to premieres, we loved Chekhov and the classic writers, but even more than Chekhov we loved Lucky Luke because he always ended up alone – why? – We also loved gas stations in the clouds and junkyards, only we didn’t commit murder, we did everything else, we took happy photos, we drank, we drank, we drank our asses, only we did that doesn’t use a weapon love, let’s say it’s good, the burnt fur we say, let’s say it has the magical property of coming back to life at any time, it turns into an animal that looks friendly and wants to be petted, that burnt fur trembles again, grows new hair and walks, growls again with sharp teeth, purrs happily at your caresses again, but, but, BUT in a state of insane hunger you will choose this animal to eat, the one that trembles in your little hands , the one you are pet for therapeutic reasons, you will not eat yourself, because there is nothing you fall in love with more in this life than yourself, let the boys have their mother, the little girls their father and that it was.

And the stupider such people happen to you, the greater the love you have for them and their same role models, with whom you fall in love throughout your life, and the greater the inability to separate yourself from them and their same role models. Because of course you fall in love with what is not given to you and luckily there is also a love for running, at least for sport. The whole point of love, in my opinion, is that you don’t have very stupid parents, and I consider a stupid parent to be anyone who is happy that their child is involved with them.

So since most murderers are not in prison, we should be a little lenient with those who are. This is about the wonderful song by Stratos KE LEGE LEGE, which inspired us to create a work about love, unfinished, wrong, inappropriate, outdated and dishonest like love. How about the useless information of the day? So similar. We hope that our presence alone is enough. Personally, I’m in love and I think you’ll see it when you look at me. And I personally have no feeling for everything we live. If it’s true. Or hallucination.
