What will we see at the 24th Festival of French Language Film in Greece?

Weirdwave is taking part in the 24th French-language film festival in Greece with six films from established and new, promising filmmakers.

In fact, five of them were selected to take part Competition part of the festival which will take place from April 2nd to 10th with a varied and rich program including films screened at the largest international festivals such as Cannes and signed by Cedric Kahn, Xavier Legrand, Robert Guthigian and Quentin Dupierre, among others.

The closing film of the festival will be Daaaaaali! by Quentin Dupierrea delightful comedy about the eccentric and great surrealist painter, played by 5 actors of different ages.

The films will soon be shown in cinemas by WEIRDWAVE.

The Successor (Le Successeur)

The Goldman case (Le procès Goldman)

In April 1976, the second trial began against Pierre Goldman, a far-left activist who had been sentenced to life in prison for four armed robberies, one of which resulted in the deaths of two pharmacists. In the final trial he protested his innocence and within a few weeks became an icon of the intellectual left. Georges Kiejman, a young lawyer, defends him. But their relationship soon becomes strained.
